The President of the Association:
Born in 1933 in Turin, where he still lives, Franco Debenedetti studied
electronic engineering at the polytechnic of Turin. He then embarked
on a career in management, becoming Vice President of Gilardini in
1972. In 1976, he became CEO of the Fiat Components Group, moving
to Olivetti in 1978. Here, among other achievements, he set up Olivetti
Information Services. In 1986, he became President of Sasib. From
1993 to 1997, he was President of Superga. He was elected Senatore
della Repubblica Italiana in 1994. |
